Mr Raymond Wat
Raymond Wat, the founder of WSHAsia, has been passionate in safety and health since he was a young. Raymond began his career as a police officer to protect the weak and vulnerable, and he later went on to represent the International Powered Access Federation in advocating the safe and effective use of powered access in Asia. He has been actively involved in the industry and has collaborated with numerous organisations to promote regional safety and health. He is the mastermind of WSHAsia, and he has been dedicated to making this platform a place for safety practitioners and like-minded individuals to easily gain knowledge on new and innovative solutions for WSH challenges in the workplace. He is now spearheading a safety and health education initiative for primary, secondary, and tertiary schools in order to instil WSH culture in our future generation

Mr Silas Sng
Mr Silas Sng is Singapore’s Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health. He also holds the concurrent position of Divisional Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHD), Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Mr Silas Sng is a Public Service Commission scholar and graduated in 1996 as a mechanical engineer from the National University of Singapore. He started his career in MOM as a factory inspector. In 2004, he obtained his Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University, United States of America. Over the course of his career, Mr Sng had assumed various leadership roles such as Director of OSH Inspectorate; Director of Work Injury Compensation and Deputy Executive Director of the Workplace Safety and Health Council. Mr Sng was also instrumental in the development of the current Workplace Safety and Health Act that was enacted in the aftermath of the 2004 Nicoll Highway Collapse. On 1 Apr 2019, Mr Sng was appointed as the Divisional Director for the Occupational Safety and Health Division, Ministry of Manpower. He is entrusted with the honour and responsibility to lead OSHD to achieve the next level of WSH improvements for Singapore guided by the new WSH2028 strategies.

Bernie Doyle
Bernie Doyle has actively worked in the automotive industry, in both supply organizations and manufacturing, which included over 20 years with General Motors in the UK. He has been a Director of the NSCA for over 25 years and is the current Chairman of the company, for nearly 15 years. He is an honorary life member of the NSCA and was recognized by the South Australian government in 2005 with an award for Outstanding Achievements in the area of Health and Safety. He retired early 2014 and as to his commitment to the National Safety Council of Australia, Bernie also consults to a number of small to medium organizations through his company Improvement Inc. He also serves as a Director on a number of Boards. Furthermore, Bernie was appointed as the Secretary General of APOSHO, Asian Pacific Occupational Safety Health Organization in 2018.

Mohamed has more than 15 years of experience as a construction project manager. He is the managing director of NewGene Technologies, a tech company that turn the old school of using rigorous paperwork way to a seamless and less physical approach in managing day to day operation at a workplaces – Tasks like enables the Contractors to bottom line Sub-Contractors, Permit to Work Safety Management, site inspections, Visitor Management and Workers Check In System.

Kek Hean Hooi
Kek Hean Hooi is the Co-founder & CEO of the start-up, Antbuildz.com. Antbuildz.com is an online equipment rental platform Construction Start-up that reinvents the traditional way of equipment rental into a digital rental experience. Graduated with Bachelor’s in civil engineering, he has 10 years of experience in construction management and rental industry experience with MNC. He also passed CFA level 3 and has a year of experience working as a consulting analyst.

Kynaston Ng
Kynaston is APAC Regional Lead at TagBox, an IoT startup that helps companies gain greater visibility of their personnel, equipment, assets and shipments. He started his career in the Singapore public sector before moving on to work for tech startups that develop solutions to enhance productivity and convenience. It may sound like a cliché, but he believes in the potential of technologies that are easy to use and implement to make work and life more comfortable for everyone, even if incrementally.

Mr. P Muthukumar is the WSHE Manager with Straits Construction Singapore Pte Ltd, more than 15 years of experience in Safety and he was also involved SCAL safety committee and work groups. He has driven the projects with more than a decade of WSHE experience and mentoring others towards achieving best safety standards in construction projects. He has led various safety programs and implemented throughout the organization and assisted projects to achieve safety improvement and also mind-set change among stakeholders.
